1. Global Rapid Rugby Asia Showcase: South China Tigers vs Western Force

Date: May 12 (Sun)

Time: 4.00pm onwards

Admission: $100-$1288 (Purchase HERE)

Global Rapid Rugby (GRR)'s Asia Showcase returns to Hong Kong!

Hong Kong rugby fans will get a taste for what Global Rapid Rugby is all about this Sunday, as the home side South China Tigers take on Western Force at the Aberdeen Sports Ground.

The new format introduces a new set of rules that encourage a high-octane and attacking-minded brand of rugby, such as an automatic 9 points should a try be scored from a move starting within a team's own 22-yard line.

With an abundance of Hong Kong representation in the Tigers line-up, this is a historic event you wouldn't want to miss!

2. Hong Kong Hidden-a-Gender Tournament 2019

Date: May 11 (Sat)

Time: 8.00am-5.20pm (subject to change)

Admission: FREE

Hong Kong boasts a healthy ultimate frisbee scene, with a strong following and a national representative squad set to travel to Shanghai for the Asia Pacific Regional Championships in July.

Before that, they will be hosting a light-hearted tournament with separate Men's and Women's Divisions (usually mixed), with the theme of "famous duos" - while registration to play is closed, I'm sure joining future events and practice sessions is just a matter of asking!

A sport that's easy to pick up but hard to master, but definitely fun to watch from the sidelines!

3. Mother's Day Nature Walk

Date: May 12 (Sun)

Time: 10.00am-12.30pm

Admission: $300 for 1 person, $500 for 2 people, $850 for 3-4 people (Purchase HERE) Kembali Nature & Forest walks begin with a sensory immersion into the Forest, a slow, gentle walk through nature, followed by guided invitations that bring us to connection with nature and family! It then finishes with a shared tea ceremony, with foraged wild tea leaves and homemade organic snacks. Suitable for all ages, families welcome!

4. Hong Kong Parkour Jam

Date: May 11 (Sat)

Time: 1.00pm-7.00pm

Admission: FREE

Hong Kong's skyscrapers are often the location of choice for daredevils from all across the world - the backdrop to their death-defying feats of acrobatics and parkour running (we do not condone this!)

Down at ground level, the Hong Kong Parkour Association are bringing together Parkour enthusiasts from all over the city for a free run session.

If you're interested in learning a few things or just marvelling at their skill and athleticism, Kowloon Park is the place to be this weekend!

5. 7K Trail Run

Date: May 12 (Sun)

Time: 5.00pm-7.00pm

Admission: FREE (Download myCrew to register HERE)

Join the Hong Kong Midnight Runners on this 7km (ish) trail run from Wan Chai Gap Park around the Aberdeen Reservoirs!

This is an opportunity for you to try out running off roads with the MR Crew. Turn up with appropriate footwear - some of the paths are uneven and slippery when wet. After the 7km route some of the captains may continue running - you are more than welcome to join as well and certainly for a drink or two after! Pace is approx 6:00min/km, which will be decided on the day based on ability.
