Post match report late and aching body similar to Teams posting a double header weekend. Sunday’s early morning tee off saw major confusion before kick off, Goldy couldn’t work out who was playing where, we had reserves!
Two on the bench was something he experienced last time he played under 12s and his dad was the coach. Solid first half with Prim banging one home albeit it a miss hit, but back of the net is all that’s matters in the D’s, while Matty owned the backs all day stopping and clubbing down the pitch.
Half time speeches where relatively lighter than normal, “I find it hard to change anything just keep doing what we’re doing”.
In hindsight, let’s not do that team talk again, we need a pumped discussion about leaking goals in the 2nd half and how to not let that happen.
Unfortunately it all fell apart second half but great effort to all those player who stepped up to the double header weekend. Good game lads.
