The Hong Kong Rugby League are set to break exciting new ground on 4th November, as they host their first-ever international test match against Japan at King's Park.
Following the success of the inaugural ICG Super League, as well as the popularity of the Battle of Origin which pitted the Southern Hemisphere against the North, the League are hoping to build on the game's growing popularity in the city by attracting a strong turnout to the fixture.
In addition, the game is fully sanctioned by the Rugby League International Federation and will prove a crucial stepping stone towards the Emerging Nations World Championship that will be held in Sydney in 2018.
Hong Kong's lineup, coached by Jason Fairleigh, will feature a healthy blend of locals, those with Hong Kong parentage and expats who have spent at least 5 years in the city.
No matter the outcome on Saturday, history will undoubtedly be made as Hong Kong look to finally announce their arrival on the Rugby League scene in style.
