The South China Australian Football League (SCAFL) series is coming to a riveting close with the Grand Finals contested by the Cobras and the Lizards, held at the Hong Kong Football Club this Saturday.

In February, round one saw the Cobras triumph against the Lizards by 27 points and the Typhoons by 17 points in Guangzhou.

However, the Lizards also saw success by defeating the Typhoons by 1 point and the Wolves by a whopping 58 points.

By round two in the beginning of March, the Cobras and Lizards were on equal points in the top of the ladder after sweeping four wins and one loss apiece.

As the series returned to Hong Kong in late March, the Lizards and Cobras both garnered six wins and the Lizards remain at the top of the ladder, with only one loss to the Cobra's two.

The anticipation to the SCAFL Grand Finals has been an exciting one - with both teams' hard work coming to a head, we're excited to see if the Lizards will come out victorious once again, or if the Cobras will take home the glory.

The Inaugural AFLW Bauhinia Cup featuring the AFL Asia AFLW Grand Final rematch will also be hosted earlier in the day.
