Here's your chance to feel a little less guilty about Christmas binge-eating and advent calendar chocolates by working some calories off beforehand!
Very much in the festive spirit, the wonderful folks at the Hong Kong Ultimate Players Association are putting on an introductory course to the sport for absolutely NO CHARGE- just turn up with water, boots and a dose of enthusiasm!
Attendees can expect to improve on their backhand, flick throws, both attacking and defensive positioning and a pretty good way to spend your Sunday afternoon.
3. Immersive Dance Workshop(s)
Date: Dec 23 (Sun)
Time: 7.00pm-8.00pm/8.00pm-9.00pm

Suitable for all ages and families, this workshop introduces fun, light-hearted warm-up games and dance exercises that aid stress relief and help to loosen you up ahead of the Christmas festivities/debauchery.
Inspired by the magical Northern Lights, participants will learn different stretches to help loosen up muscles and joints. You will then take part in an interactive workshop with our dancers to learn fluid movement combinations, even taking part in a final performance with their dancers and plenty of photo ops (or it didn't happen...)!

If you scare easily, you might want to sit this one out.
If you're still reading, you're in for a little treat- not only will you be able to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, but embark on a historical journey featuring some of Hong Kong's abandoned settlements, old army barracks and Hakka style houses, left to fight a losing battle against Mother Nature.
There's no guarantee that you won't or will be met with encounters of the supernatural kind, though the title "Ghost Villages" is tantalisingly ambiguous...

As the saying goes, all roads lead to Rome; getting healthier and fitter doesn't necessarily have to mean slugging away in the gym to the sound of clanging iron and nor should consistency be mistaken for being dead set on sticking to the same familiar, safe routine.
In addition, dancing to music shouldn't be confined to a night out in LKF/the Wanch and as is the very essence of Zumba, can be harnessed to burn calories and increase your resting metabolic rate.
If this and an afternoon of dancing to Hip Hop, Latin, K-pop and other tunes sounds agreeable, what are you waiting for?
