2. Kitchee SC vs Buriram United FC

Pre-season preparations are in full flow for reigning Hong Kong Premier League Champions Kitchee SC, as they welcome Buriram United to Mongkok Stadium this Saturday.

Having made their AFC Champions League debut last season, Kitchee will be looking to test their mettle against the Thai outfit and will hope for an immediate impact from former Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko.

3. Club Fight Night

Date: 25 Aug (Sat)

Time: 6.15 pm (guests arrive), 7.15pm (first fight)

If you have cash to splash and an appetite for hard knocks and brutal KOs, then Club Fight Night may well be the highlight of your month!

Hong Kong's biggest and most intense rugby rivalries will be unleashed in the boxing ring, where rugby players of various ages and sizes will don gloves and beat each other to a pulp- the perfect recipe to spice up the upcoming season!

4. East Asian Muay Thai Championships 2018

Date: 16 Aug (Thu)- 20 Aug (Sun)

Time: 1.30pm onwards

Venue: Queen Elizabeth Stadium (Causeway Bay Station Exit A)

Admission: FREE except Sunday ($20)

Probably the closest you'll get to a full-blooded Muay Thai experience without having to actually travel there, with the added bonus of free admission to the public on all days, except the final bouts on Sunday.

Get ready to cheer on Hong Kong as they duke it out with the likes of the China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Macau, Mongolia and the Philippines!

5. Sports Expo 2018

Date: 17 Aug (Fri)- 19 Aug (Sun)

Time: 1pm-4.30pm

Venue: KITEC, 1 Trademart Dr, Kowloon Bay

Admission: $30

Find out about the latest innovations in sports, health and fitness and seize the opportunity to get your sweat on in the various workshops and classes going on in this year's Sports Expo!

With the likes of Zumba, Yoga, Power Dance, something called "Pilloxing" (we'll leave it to you to find out what it is...) and various other activities to keep your kids entertained, there's a little something for everyone looking for a fun-filled and active weekend!
