Venue: HSBC, Central (start point at stone lions)

Admission: $435 (Purchase HERE)

Join historical tour guide Jason Wordie on an educational tour of Hong Kong's bustling Central district, where he will discuss the origins of its colonial past and rich tapestry of influences from various cultures.

On this three hour walk, you will visit Statue Square and environs, the exteriors of the old Supreme Court (now the Court of Final Appeal), Government House, the old French Mission Building, St. John’s Cathedral and its leafy precinct, the Zoological and Botanical Gardens and the historic Jamia Mosque near the Central escalator.

Hopefully, you will come away not only with bits of trivia to impress your friends with, but also a steepened appreciation for this incredible city!

2. Design and Art Summit @ Summerfest

Date: Aug 10 (Sat)

Time: 10:00am-6:00pm

Admission: FREE (Register HERE)

Something a little different - check out a variety of locally-made products including soaps, clothing, jewellery and accessories for everyone!

What's more, participate in various workshops, have a caricature of yourself drawn and take in several live performances!

3. Inner Yoga with Marcel

Date: Aug 11 (Sun)

Time: 9:00am-10:00am

Admission: FREE

Hong Kong-based yoga guru Marcel Yoga is hosting his latest free community yoga class (he does plenty of these...) at Tamar Park!

Build a strong foundation through standing postures, backbending, create mobility in the hips, knees, ankles, and improve endurance through forward bending.

Bring a yoga mat, water and a smile and keep an eye out for future events like this - perfect for anyone interested to try out yoga, but not willing to fork out a fortune just yet.

4. Workshop - Muscle Engagement

Date: Aug 11 (Sun)

Time: 2:30pm-4:30pm

Admission: $500 (Contact 91288177 to reserve your spot!)

Local yogi Rose is hosting a workshop that aims to provide a hands-on approach to learning how to engage your muscles.

Find out how the concepts of muscle mass and muscle strength are separated from muscular power, a concept that implies explosiveness, and muscular endurance, which is the ability of the muscle to work at a steady performance rate over time.

Perhaps something athletes from all disciplines can take something away from!

5. Clean the Beach Boot Camp - Gold Coast (Tuen Mun)

Date: Aug 10 (Sat)

Time: 9:45am-12:00pm

Admission: FREE

Get your sweat on for a fantastic cause with the global initiative Clean the Beach Boot Camp, who offer free workout under the sun in exchange for participants helping out with cleaning the beach afterwards (a workout in itself!).

Definitely an active and fulfilling way to spend your Saturday mornings - be sure to bring friends and comfortable apparel to move around in!
