In the final act of the 2018/19 season, spectators were treated to a feast of non-stop netball action, as the Grand Finals across all 7 Divisions took place at the Hong Kong Park Sports Centre last Saturday.

It was a big day for the Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC), who were looking to lay claim to both Premier Division and 1st Division honours.

While the HKFC Whirlwinds fell to a 41-36 loss against the HKCC Devils in a hard-fought affair, HKFC Club underlined their dominance by posting a 49-24 win over Sonics Netball, with Hong Kong national goalshooter Helene Bibeau playing a starring role.

The score surpassed HKFC Club's previous wins (44-27, 45-24) against their rivals earlier in the Premier Division campaign.

On the other hand, the 2nd Division Final saw the DB Buccaneers overturn a 34-39 loss earlier in the season to defeat first-placed Kowloon Opals to the tune of 40-32.

Similar circumstances befell the Kowloon Crystals, who were unable to replicate their 27-20 win over the Mighty Eagles and lost 29-17 in the 3rd Division Final.

Yet another thrilling season has now been wrapped up, with netball fans having to wait until September for their next fix of netball action as the Hong Kong National squad assembles.
