Our pick of 5 Hong Kong sporting events to play or watch!

1. Hunger Games HK (Archery Tag)

Date: Jan 27 (Sun)

Time: 6.00pm-8.00pm

Admission: $100 (register HERE!)

Think paintballing, but without the exorbitant costs, long commute, bruises and cleanup/laundry operation.

That's pretty much what you get with archery tag, where participants dodge and weave their way past incoming arrows (foam-tipped, fortunately!) while attempting to score hits of their own against the opposing team.

If being able to replicate the likes of Legolas, Katniss Everdeen or whichever fictional eagle-eyed archer is something you'd like to do this Sunday for the price of a mere $100, then be sure to book your spot by 2pm on Saturday!

Facemasks and protective gear will be provided, so just bring a sturdy pair of shoes and you're good to go. Happy hunting!

2. GO24 Fitness North Point Open Day

Date: Jan 27 (Sun)

Time: 10.00am-6.00pm

Admission: FREE (register HERE!)

Without question the best deal on this list this coming weekend, for yogis and lifters alike.

In order to christen their brand new location at North Point, GO24 are offering the chance for anyone out there to take advantage of their spanking new facilities for free, *or* participate in a yoga session at no cost at all!

Feel free to sign up for any of their workouts sessions (10am-12pm/1pm-3pm/4pm-6pm) or yoga classes (11am-12pm/2pm-3pm/5pm-6pm) and indeed properly sign on for a full membership if you forsee yourself smashing a couple of PRs, generally going hard and/or making strides on your path to spirituality and wellness.

3. The 3rd Sunday Kiss x Whizpa Family Fun Festival

Date: Jan 26 (Sat)

Time: 9.30am-11.30am, 12.00pm-2.00pm, 2.30pm-4.30pm (SOLD OUT), 5.00pm-7.00pm (SOLD OUT)

Admission: $90/pax (purchase HERE)

Who said staying indoors had to be boring?

Channel your child's boundless energy towards any of the 18 activity booths on show at the Whizpa Family Fun Festival this Saturday, with mini rock-climbing, Mandarin, art, fencing, taekwondo, coding and a whole load of other things going on to keep them occupied.

Only morning/early afternoon sessions remain, so be act quickly and snap them up while they last!

4. Wild Sunday Hike and Run

Date: Jan 27 (Sun)

Time: 9.00am-2.00pm

Admission: $150

Make use of the cool(-ish) weather this Sunday by embarking on a hike/run in the rather picturesque Aberdeen Country Park!

Hosted by XTE Challenge Series, who organise a whole load of other similar outdoor competitive "multi-sport" events including mountain-biking, the 10km running path begins and concludes at the BBQ site.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category and since we couldn't find anywhere to register, it'll be safe to assume that those interested can do so and pay up on the day itself.

5. YogaForAll - Year of the Pig: In Kindness and Community

Date: Jan 27 (Sun)

Time: 11.00am-12.30pm

Admission: FREE

What's better than a Yoga class led by a PureYoga instructor, right in the heart of Central, accompanied by the sights, sounds and smells of the water?

One with a meaningful charitable cause, of course!

In line with raising awareness about cancer and also funds (which you can donate by clicking here), Will Tan will lead a free, free-flow vinyasa class in celebration of the Year of the Pig.

All you have to do is turn up with a yoga mat, water, soak up the good vibes and show your support as he cuts off his considerable locks, which will be donated to the non-profit organisation Locks of Love.
