Last Saturday saw another tough encounter with HKFC A.
Still reminiscing about last year’s epic match which yielded a 4-4 draw, we were ready to take on the worthy opponents.
As always, Football Club came out all guns blazing, which saw some excellent defensive play from our solid backline, absorbing a lot of pressure although the opponents managed to slot in 2 goals before half time.
Despite the score, we continued working hard with some great runs and balls down the baseline, and running upfront from the forwards.
It just wasn’t our day on the turf and HKFC came out victorious, up 6-0 when the final whistle blew.
Despite some great defending and working hard on the field, it was unfortunately not the result we were hoping for but as always finished the day off with a few beers and some vibey team banter.
Ready to meet HKFC A for one last encounter in the cup final!
