The Hong Kong Women's Hockey squad have been relatively untroubled in their Asian Games Qualifiers campaign in Bangkok so far, registering a 3-0 opening day victory against Indonesia and a 1-1 draw against Singapore, followed by another 3-0 win over Kazakhstan and a 0-0 draw against Taiwan.
While hosts Thailand have wasted no time in securing the first of four qualification spots by recording 4 wins in 4 games, Hong Kong remain firmly in the running alongside Taiwan, Singapore and Kazakhstan.
Although a gruelling test against the hosts awaits in their final fixture, a win against Pakistan later today is all it takes in order for Hong Kong to qualify- a task that should prove simple enough given their opponent's sub-par performances in the competition so far.
