Match Report: HKCC Ladies A 2-1 Coyotez

With all the experience gained in the previous three tough games, HKCC A improved significantly in their read of the game and press. They came out determined to take over Coyotez.

Starting off the match with an aggressive press from HKCC, Coyotez absorbed the pressure and patiently switched the ball around, waiting for a turnover chance. The A's dominated possession but did not manage to convert the chances into a goal.

With a 0-0 score at half time, Coach Rob made some big changes in the structure of the team to make it more attacking. Pushing players - Brige, Rach and Griz up the field to spark a fire up front.

First goal came from a PC conversion from Ais. Another PC not long after saw Jenny A jump like a ballerina to deflect the ball into the net!

After a few frantic moments of HKCC being down to 9 players with 2 green cards the girls managed to absorb pressure and not concede any goals during that time.

However, Coyotez did not give up and scored off a composed and well worked PC. Score: 2-1.

Despite their continuous effort, HKCC did not lose their focus and secured the victory with a final result of 2:1.

Overall, it was a game with the most scoring opportunities ever created so far; the next target for the ladies is to look for better outcomes in the circle, solid finishing, and put the ball into the goal!
