The latest edition of the Hebe Haven 24-hour Charity Dinghy Race took place late last month, drawing avid sailors from as far as Shanghai and Macau to Sai Kung for an overnight endurance aquathon in the name of charity.

Since its inception in 2002, the Race has raised in excess of HKD $11 million for local organisations and causes such as the Children's Cancer Foundation and IDEAL.

This year proved equally successful, with the Hebe Haven Yacht club playing host to over 2000 spectators and competitors.

While Operation Breakthrough finished first in the LASER BAHIA category, FIS Froggies took the LASER PICO category and the Macau Sailing Association won the RS FEVA category.

The RS QUEST category was topped by the KGV Race Team, while The Para Warrior swept both first place in the ACCESS 303 category and emerged overall champion of the two-day event.
